I am on the Internet, eh wot

Yup.

I've always wanted to blog, 'cause I think I'm a pretty interesting (read: slightly psychotic) guy, and I think I'm okay/good at writing.

I s'pose I should introduce myself, though this blog is probably going to only get read by people who already know me. I'm Brian. At the moment, I absolutely love Breakcore, which is really agressive face-breaking techno music, though knowing how my tastes change all the time, three months from now I'll probably be in love with French Yeye music or something and the title will seem horribly outdated.

I don't get out much. Like, at all. In high school most of my time was spent hanging out with the gooniest basement-dwellers in Michigan, holed up in a moldy basement, playing Phantasy Star Online/ Dungeons & Dragons/other such things.

I've been in a pretty huge stress/depression funk lately, so I thought I'd list 5 things making me happy today:

1. My lunch/dinner is delicious (Club sandwich + baked beans)

2. I finally got around to looking up Shingo DJ's stuff (I have the strange habit of not doing things I know I'm going to like), and "One Chance, Only One Chance" is the most head-banging, blood-pumping, face-punching techno I've found on the net.

3. The weather is fantastic and I can actually open my window and get some fresh air.

4. SO MANY GOOD BOOKS TO READ! In addition to the two-thirds finished "The Writing Class" and the half-finished "John Dies at the End," I've just bought "Extra Lives: Why Video Games Matter," which is just the right mix of critical analysis and snarky personal essays. It's so good.

5. Uh... um... Jenna mentioned me in her blog YEAH! I'm making her motivated!
